What was her point exactly? Colbert wasn't making a racist joke. He was making fun of racist people. I don't know why satire is so difficult to understand.
I meant the Huffington Post guy interviewing her.
Calling Dan Snyder a racist is silly to begin with anyway....dont mind seeing Colbert getting a taste of his own medicine. Snyder isn't the founder of the Redskins. And of course I understand satire....there's just only one group of people allowed to get away with it these days, and that's white liberals.

I had a conversation today with someone regarding this and I tried to explain to them that the point of the name was to make fun of the Washington Redskins Native American outreach programme and that Colbert is a satire character.
The reason they were still offended was because the Ching Chong Ding Long foundation to them sounded like something that a white foundation may actually do.
I tried to explain to them that was sort of the point of why he was making fun of anyone who would do that..but instead I was like

Look at all this racism in this thread. Really though, I should expect nothing less from a Black Dominated website. Blacks are without a doubt, the most racist people towards Asians, so I have come to expect this type of talk from them. Oh... and Cue the perverse Sexualization Asian Women. It's so predictable.
I am usually very anti-PC, but after watching the video with Ms. Park. I have to take her side on this issue. It doesn't matter if it is satire or not. I am quite tired of all the racism against Asian Americans. Why are we always the brunt of some stupid-ass jokes? I don't get it?.
Yet, all someone has to do is mention monkey in the same paragraph as a reference to a black person (Donald Rumsfield) and people will have straight up fit. All the White Liberals will rally around black people and shame anyone who even says anything that can be remotely interpreted as racist. Yet, as Asians, we need to just get over it?
If some guy says anything remotely racist about Jews or Blacks, it's fukking curtain call for that guy. There is never the same reaction for other ethnic minorities and especially Asians. It's like this all time. I remember when some Black Girl told an Asian girl to "Go home and do some nails" on 50 cent's reality TV show, and that Black girl wasn't kicked off the show. Imagine if the Asian girl had said something similar to the black girl. The Asian girl would be shamed in the public eye.
And then look at the American Narrative that is repeated in the media time and time again. There is never any mention of the Chinese exclusionary act, the Chinese Railroad workers, the Occupation of the Philippines, very little is ever mentioned about the Japanese internment Camps, The outrageous and authorized bombing of Cambodia, or the Black-on-Asian Genocides in Oakland.
Yet, we are forced fed all this fukking Black slavery crap, and then told about the Nazi's all the every hour and every minute. Like WTF? Nothing bad every happened to us? I don't get.
If we want to relax and say jokes about other races, that's fine. Then I should be able to say whatever Joke I want about BLacks and Jews. I don't deserve special treatment, that's fine. But Neither do they. We should all be equal under the law, and under social norms.
