shyt was definitely more personal than professional. That’s where it led to it being personal. If not personally, at least professionally yeah. It wasn’t just the spurs and pistons either. From 1999-03 the eastern conference champs were a 27-23 Knicks team with its best player out of the lineup, a pacers team whose best two players were Reggie Miller and Jalen Rose, and then the nets in back to back years
You tell me:So hate or perceived hate didnt really help then did it?
Thats one game. Was the point about a game or ratings overall? Bron and Kobe didn't hate each other yet they broke the record. You tell me:
Heat-Lakers draw best rating for regular season game since 2004
NEW YORK (AP) -- The highly anticipated first matchup between the new-look Heat and the defending-champion Lakers drew the highest television rating for an NBAwww.si.com
Held the ratings record until Heat vs Lakers in 2010

So no it didnt impact overall ratings and things other than hate impact ratings? Gotcha. The point was about hate increasing ratings
That was the most star studded game the NBA could have made in 2010, Which is why it was the Christmas game
And im sure the Heat/Lakers game in 05 did numbers as well. Do your googles and stop asking redundant questions you already know the answers to.
KSo no it didnt impact overall ratings and things other than hate impact ratings? Gotcha.
Replace the pistons with the nets I told Niqqas in another thread that nobody wanted to watch the spurs or netsIdgaf what they said the past 10 years. Them nikkas HATED each other.

This is another thing that's crazy and I've been bringing this up for years.Draymond does all the stuff people online say is missing from the league and everyone hates him because of it
Because it's literally been a talking point by the masses for years now and industry for years nowI don't really care for whatever conversations you've heard. They're inconsequential. Why do you think that's even a relevant talking point?
Nobody can project for everything that's going to happen in the future.
We're dealing with reality as it is right now.
If the NBA ever thought that and even admitted to thinking that, they were either foolish or they were mitigating any potential narrative that could be run against the league. But again, I'm not sure why your focus is what sports were supposed to be immune to, instead of just taking it for what it is now.
He does everything short of grab dudes on the ass (like with James worthy) and homo troll them by talking about how handsome they are (like with Malone)This is another thing that's crazy and I've been bringing this up for years.
Dray is a perfect representation of the on court beefs, but nikkas literally hate the man, so they say it doesn't exist.
The G League infrastructure is never gonna be what it is in other sports because in our minds, if you're a G Leaguer, you're a G Leaguer for a reason. The owners need to nut up and tie pay to bigger team based incentives, like making the playoffs. call me a hater but there is no reason for Bradley Beal to have made all the money he made in Washington with as little success as he had. and there’s no way you’re going to convince me that Scottie Barnes or Franz Wagner currently deserve what they got paid either (at least the magic made the playoffs tho).
They also need to tell college basketball to go fukk themselves and get rid of the one and done rule and actually invest in the G League infrastructure. The G League is a facade so that the NBA can pretend that they are a serious league. If the NBA took the G league seriously then there would be a steady pipeline of NBA ready players to pull from, meaning a lot of current players would have to get their shyt together.
None of this is actually going to happen and I know it’s extremely implausible, but just my thoughts.
Part of it was the overcorrection after malice in the palaceThe product as a whole is weak and brehs are too friendly. Let's just keep it real. It's a soft life era in the nba
