I can't even listen to the shyt, the difference b/w his show now compared to when he was on ESPN radio like a decade ago is like night and day. Dude is fully immersed into the over the top character.

he might pop up before first take for sportscenter
he does first take 10-12 daily... imagine he comes in early when he's in studio
then he has espn radio from 1-3 daily
if there's a game he's doing, he's definitely popping up around 7-8pm for another sportscenter
plus he talks to these dudes cause he's still an inside man... so he's there early to get in the locker room and smooze it up and ask questions
then he's available to do the post game.. then the post game sportscenter.. some of these games don't start till 1030pm..
then he gotta be up early again to do the morning sportscenter, guest spots on other shows, and his own show and the same routine at 10am
lets not even add the flight time city to city. and having his phone number in the hands of 345435349 people for intel
he do make 3 million a year but fukk that schedule

Anyway i won't cry for that nikka, he chose that life. Making that mistake i see alot of blk folks making, thinking it's honorable to work your ass off beyond what's reasonable. There's a reason Skip got out, he was like they gonna pay me the same bag without all the extra work?!! I'm out!
SAS ain't no spring chicken either, he's 50 years old and has made his brand what it's going to be. He should have told the higher ups to get some of them up and coming young guns to pull all the double/triple duty bullshyt.

he got 3-3.5, 2 years before skip left... then skip got 7 million. so he fired his agents, got with CAA, and he wants that type of money on the next go round. could be why he's working so damn hard. i definitely see him more than anybody else on espn

Man, I agree. Michelle Beadle makes more than him and doesn’t have nearly as much air time as Stephen A. Stephen A is a much bigger star than her, but he’s doing a lot more work to still get less money. ESPN doesn’t treat their white stars like that.
