:troll:you got to be a kid. Vince clearly had a better season

I really hate delusional fans like you who are unable to look at things from a rational perspective. Vince Young had a great year.

But he was by no means the best or most exciting player in college football that year.

It was Reggie Bush BY A MILE...

You can look at that Nat'l Ship game all you want and talk shyt.. Its a SEASON AWARD not a SINGLE GAME AWARD..

You are a myopic, irrational Texas fan..:rudy:

I never said he wasn't the hottest thing going that year. Where are you getting that from? I simply said that in SOHH, amongst a number of posters (mostly TX fans of course), there were some who did make a strong case for VY BEFORE THE NC GAME.

Of course, after the game those voices were much louder.

This thread is about Bush being "Jordanesque" in college, which to me means that he was head and shoulders above all others not only that season, but historically. Maybe i'm reading too much into Stephen A Smith's statement, but my point is that Bush is definitely not the best college football player I've ever seen in my lifetime, whereas Jordan is undoubtedly.

Stop posting about this, you look like an idiot..

What's so "irrational" about thinking that VY's season didn't deserve the Heisman?

3k passing, 26 tds...1k rushing, 12 tds is by a mile? VY had a so-so final game which swayed a lot of votes to bush. VY single handley brought us back vs OSU and Ohio State that year. Okie State comeback was amazing.

not only that -- he was the first player in the history of D-1 football to pass for over 3,000 and rush for over 1,000 in one season. That's insane.

Bush had the best runs of the year and was a phenom, but his production wasn't really mindblowing like that. And of course there's the matter of USC's comp that year.

I'll never say Vince Young didnt deserve the Heisman, but I wont say Reggie Bush didnt deserve it either.

Being in LA, the flashy highlight reel, etc., put Reggie over the top.

If there were co-Heismans I wouldnt even be mad.

i think schedules were pretty even that year b/c the big 12 was a little down. but reggie's highlight reels helped him out. also helps playing in LA.

yeah pretty much how I feel. if they re-vote after the championship game i bet VY takes it.
