Y the fukk do people keep saying Bron's passing is better than MJ's? Cause he averages more assists? No one who actually watched MJ play would agree with this point. He was a great passer when he tried to be def not inferior to Bron...Bron just likes to defer more but that doesn't make him a better passer. Nikkas acting like hes magic johnson out there with the passing. As for any other category its not even close so theres no point in arguing.

Ehhhh, I'm on the fence but I see where they are coming from. Bron has the skillset to play every position on the court. He doesn't need to be the scorer cause he can facilitate things like a point guard.

MJ averaged 33/8/8 in 89.

Chapter 37: The triple double run « THE EVOLUTION OF MICHAEL JORDAN

When it became obvious that relying on Michael Jordan alone to win games was no longer working, the Chicago Bulls tried a move that surprised everyone. They shifted Michael Jordan to the point guard position.

Atlanta Hawks guard Doc Rivers said “It’s terrible, I don’t like it. It’s not fair.”

Hawks coach Mike Fratello said “He was a nightmare already. Now, he gets the ball even more.”

Golden State coach Don Nelson said “Everybody wonders why they didn’t do it before.”
As Jordan became more used to his new role, the Bulls became more used to winning. The team would go on to win 11 out of the 14 games after the switch, and was again in contention for the fourth playoff spot and home court advantage in the Eastern conference.

“For the most part, I’m starting to like it.” Michael Jordan said “I never dreamed I’d play that position – me, a lifelong (shooting) guard. But it helps. I can call my own plays and get everyone else involved in the offense.”

Clyde Drexler had this to say, “Everybody has to watch (Jordan) with the ball. The other guys are free to roam, and their shooting percentages are going to soar. I think (Jordan) handles the ball better than Magic. (Jordan) just makes everybody else better.”

“So many people key on Michael that you’re usually going to have one or two guys open all the time,” Hawks forward Dominique Wilkins said. “It makes them that much more effective. It depends on how the other players respond to it, and they’ve responded very well.”

On March 25, Michael began a run of 10 triple doubles in 11 games, including 7 straight before missing one against the Pistons where he had 40 points, 11 assists, and 7 rebounds. He would finish the season with 15 triple doubles, 3 shy of Magic Johnson’s record among active players.

Jordan could not guard Ewing and Dominique, Bron would've, while facilitating the offensive

When has Bron ever guarded a center like Ewing?

Does he even guard the center when it's not someone like Ibaka or Perkins, who you can ignore on offense for the most part?

People make it seem like he's out there shutting down Howard and Bynum

Dude can't make a jumper to save his life. LeBron is a freak of nature, he's certainly a better passer than Jordan...but come on.

dawg,...there are no real skilled centers of ewing calibur healthy or after knee problems.

to ever even compare if bron could stick ewing one on one.

you a dumbass!!

if you trying to make an arguement for bron in the low bball iq era.

as being able to guard ewing.

first of it wasn't no zone,.....

you a dummie b,.......stfu!!

bron is not on mj level on no day.

art barr

fawk you hater.....this is the King's James time. Bow down you simple minded fakkit. If Bron guarded DHoward, then fawk yeah he would guard Ewing

Both Ewing and Niq were the man. Bron could guard against both if he had to. Like I said before, no superstar is capable of shutting down another superstar, through out their career

When has Bron ever guarded a center like Ewing?

Bron guarded these dudes when they had him at the 5....King LeBron "1-through-5" James :noah:

Like I said above, no superstar is capable of shutting down another superstar, but making them work for those points versus being completely dominated is the point

:wtf:

And for a month Jeremy Lin was the best PG in the league.

If teams aren't used to your game, they need time to adjust. And they needed time to adjust to Michael in his new role and the new look of the Bulls' offense.

And naturally...if you read the damn article...the numbers dropped and the wins dropped. Teams adjusted.

Which is why MJ never became a PG permanently.

Bron would not be able to guard Patrick Ewing in his prime or even slightly after his prime

Shoot, Bron wouldn't be able to guard Dwight Howard today.

no he wasn't...nikka was gettin shut down by other point gaurds by the 3rd or 4th game he played...and even wit his numbers..other point guards in the NBA was doin more and wasnt gettin any coverage cause Lin was gettin overhyped...and it was'nt even a whole month...that nikka's whole spirit left him after he played Miami...
