What SAS said isn't a lie..... numbers don't mean shyt if you don't win. That's exactly what I said yesterday about players in the NBA putting up empty numbers on losing teams.

He's also proving the point about what a lot of us have been saying pertaining to "ring culture" when he brings up Russ lack of championships.

To single out Russ stat padding and not winning and cuban b'ing the rest of these nikkaz doing the same is disingenuous. But I get that it draws ratings which is all these shows care about at the end of the day. SAS knows how to play tv/radio beautifully in order to do this.

I mean SAS was 100% correct and even prefaced it by saying he respects Russ as a man. Russ then basically said 'I'm good as a man'. And Russ and his wife were also correct. The fact that Washington still isn't any better with the Westbrook and Beal tandem should speak volumes about both of them as a player. It reminds me of the Westbrook/PG tandem in OKC where they underachieved in spite of how both players were viewed at the time.

If Beal is as good as people say that he is, then he deserves the blame as well. That tandem has underachieved so far this season. No one expected them to make the playoffs, but they also didn't expect them to be as bad as they are.

People can use whatever excuses they want, but other teams have dealt with injury and COVID just as much as the Wizards have. They are about 4.5 games back of being the worst team in the East.
