:mjlol: This trash ass take.. As you can see Steph gets busy with or without the spacing..

He averaged damn near two blocks and one steal per game. How’s his defense overrated when he plays his assignment (star or not) and he actually helped protect the rim meanwhile Steph is getting abused on defense unless Klay is guarding his assignment :mjlol:
Steph has had the luxury of playing with good spacing for a minute. KD won scoring titles and an MVP with the horrible spacing and Young Sabo in OKC :stopitslime:
KD
2016 25 ppg 8 boards and 5 assists on 53% shooting
2017 26 ppg 7 boards and 5 assists on 52% shooting
2018 26 ppg 6 boards and 6 assists on 52% shooting

Steph
2016 25 ppg 5 boards and 7 assists on 47% shooting
2017 26 ppg 5 boards and 6 assists on 49% shooting
2018 27 ppg 5 boards and 5 assists on 47% shooting

We know who actually showed up in all of their big games too. Who won when KD went down? Would they have won in 2015 if lebron’s costars ain’t go down? Are you trolling? :mjtf:

The idea that KD was better than Steph during his tenure as a Warrior is just not true. The Warriors posted significantly better numbers in lineups with Steph than they did in lineups with KD and they had a better record when Steph played and KD didn't than they did when KD played and Steph didn't. KD benefitted from teams scheming to stop Steph who was blitzed when he didn't even have the ball. Defenses were more comfortable with KD isolating at will than they were with Steph even attempting a shot.

Steph is just a more impactful player... His off-ball gravity opens things up for his teammates in a way that KD's scoring will never be able to. Looking at how both played with Klay (who is the ideal role player for any ball dominant star) during Durant's tenure as a Warrior illustrates this point:

2016-2018 (Playoffs + RS)
Klay w/ Durant only ---- 18.5 Pts/75 ---- 36.9 3P% --- 43.2 FG% --- 52.9 TS% --- 109.8 Team ORtg
Klay w/ Steph only ----- 25.3 Pts/75 ---- 44.6 3P% --- 48.3 FG% ---- 60.5 TS% --- 121.4 Team ORtg

Curry can get his while playing in a free-flowing offensive style which is why Klay ends up getting such great looks playing next to him. KD's inability to involve Klay more when there's no Curry on the court is an absolutely damning shortcoming. He is an elite scorer but a mediocre ball-handler/passer which is why he has never had the impact Steph does. KD's offensive impact is closer to Kawhi than it is Steph and Lebron.

Steph averaged more points on better efficiency the three seasons Kd was on the Warriors. The team had a significantly better record when Steph played and KD didnt than vice versa. But KD was the better player :troll:

And Comparing rebounding stats btwn a 6’3 guard and a 7 foot forward :mjtf:

“We know who showed up in all their big games too”

You mean like the WCF in which Steph put up the most points in NBA history when KD was injured?

You mean like the Game 6 in Houston when he scored 30 in the second half to close out James Harden and the Rockets?

Go re-watch those Finals and look at the attention Steph saw compared to KD and re-evaluate your stancw

KD literally did everything in his power to get Steph the finals MVP in 2018. :skip:

KD just has such a stranglehold on the game when he's on that it made Steph look pedestrian. Steph has a lot of off nights as well. When he's the man like right now, he can shoot his way out of it and make up for it in various ways. When he's got a full squad it just looks like a regular 5-19 night. :pachaha:
:what:

Wade literally did everything in his power to get Lebron his first ring in 2011 :troll:

I guess that means Wade was definitively the best player on those Heat teams :troll:

Also game 7 of the WCF in Houston 2018. KD ended up with more points but Steph brought them back from like 15 at halftime. Without Steph taking over in the 3rd they lose that series 100%. Incredible underrated clutch performance.

Steph averaged one more ppg in 2018. They were tied the other two years and KD shot over 51 percent every year. Steph never shot over 49%. Where was Steph more efficient? :dwillhuh:

Klay draws hella attention too. Is he on their level too? Shooters draw attention breh. Breh KD was drawing double teams what do you mean? Also, 2018 playoffs Steph did perform well and KD was hurt but they only beat Portland without KD. Klay and KD could’ve won that series without Steph.

You have nothing to say about how Durant helped the team defensively and Curry had to be hid?

Where did I say I was comparing rebounds? I was listing their stats :gucci:

Nothing wrong with stanning dude but be realistic breh. I’m not even close to being a Steph hater. He’s brought tears to LeGBT coalition for years.

edit: The team won 73 games before KD joined. How is it a knock on KD if they win when he was out? It’s still a 73 win team minus Harrison Barnes and some other irrelevant pieces.

Ummmm you going to ignore the FMVP voters who literally made it their business before the finals even started to create the narrative that Klay was going to be the mvp? Steph was avg damn near a triple double and they waited until he had one bad shooting game in which GS won to immediately declare Durant is the fmvp.. Media still hate Steph for preventing Bron from getting 7 rings...

Rachel Nicoles stupid ass voted for iggy to get FMVP over Steph, she also cost Klay a max contract in her vote on wether Klay made the all nba team..

Facts and it’s pretty clear Steph is feared way more than KD is.. GS would be 5th in the East right now.. Steph off ball gravity literally have a bench dude named Mulder out here having open dunks off split actions :mjlol:
