I'm watching First Take and not 1 mention of our championship. Plenty of LeBron talk but not 1 topic about us winning it all. If the Cavs won every topic would be about them. It's like they sleeping already.

every team he played against also had a hurt or injured point guard:

1st round: Jrue Holiday
2nd round: Conley(was playing hurt and missed game 1)
3rd round: Beverley
finals: Irving

He wasn't matched up against any of those first all nba players. :stopitslime:

Injuries happen everyday B. Let's talk about how easy the Cavs postseason was prior to seeing us. Bron ran into weak ass Boston, then the Pau-less Bulls, then the Starless Hawks. Steph ran into MVP candidates in just about every round.

:snoop: This shyt makes zero sense to me. We had the best record all season. nikkas talk like KD and Russy went to the Finals every year. Them nikkas only went once and that was when they had Harden so talking about them being out like they were some staple in the WCF is offensive to the Champs.

If Stephen Curry was as popular as you claim (and the reason TV ratings were so high), wouldn't everybody spend more time talking about him than LeBron? :mjpls:

Yall gotta stop being salty about the lack of recognition though. Everyone knows yall are good, yall won the championship.

GS's lack of coverage over the title is because the playoffs in general was a letdown.

You dont have the run the Spurs had last year where they cut down some damn good teams.

Went 7 games vs. rival Dallas Mavs.
Shredded 54 win Portland.
Took down KD and Westbrook in the WCF.
Then dominated a two time champ Heat in the finals.

Golden State's run was :ld:

Even if yall would have likely won. People wanted to see Golden State vs. a KD/Westbrook first round. Memphis backcourt being hurt just took away from seeing them really challenge the splash brothers like we hoped. Houston was the one team nobody wanted to see make the WCF against Golden State. People wanted either the Clippers or Spurs. It just makes for a better series.

Then playing a Kyrie less Cavs squad (I'm not even asking for Kevin Love to be there...) it just took away from the finals. Steph letting Delly bother him for a couple games was fun, but not what people wanted to see. They wanted to see a talent almost as good as Steph go right at him.

Instead we just saw 7 man team wear down :ld:

In reality its no knock on the Warriors. Yall may have won it all anyway :manny::patrice:

Its just the letdown of these playoffs.

:camby: is that why the nba finals this year had the highest rating in like 10-15 years? higher than spurs vs heat or any other championship in a decade or more
playoffs were a letdown for people who follow trash teams or whose teams got eliminated :smugdraper:

Only on The Coli will people say

"GS's lack of coverage over the title is because the playoffs in general was a letdown."

Yet it was the highest rated finals Since Jordan was playing, Playoffs were a letdown to all the Lebron Stans and no one else

New teams was one of the reason it had the highest ratings.

LeBron putting up 41/12/9 through 3 games had something to do with that.

Steph Curry being one of if not the most exciting player had something to do with that.

But the Warriors in general...not much discussion since the finals are over :yeshrug:

no, the WARRIORS ran into MVP candidates in just about every round, not Steph. Stop it with the nonsense, Steph is an all time great shooter, if not the greatest, but he's not some prolific player that just destroyed other MVP candidates by himself.

Under Armour dropped 2 shoes since then and both insta sold out, and the $129 curry MVPs from 5 days ago are selling for $400-500

Yes Under Armour...

But you are right about not much discussion... ESPN been suckin off Lebron for a decade, they cant talk to much about it because it will keep reminding them about that little 2-4 thing we keep talking about...
