Real talk, Curry saved himself from complete embarrassment, exposure and the risk of a more serious injury because there was no way he wasn't going to last the entire 82 games with as brittle and how soft he is nh.
You can't take away his accomplishments from him and the impact he's had on the game but yeah he's simply not built to lead a team that's not stacked to a championchip. That's not who he is....he needs a team around him that won't put everything on him.

All-Stars is all about popularity and narrative - it doesn't mean anything when it comes to winning games. Never mind the fact that Dlo's not even a top-10 guard in the West.
All-star is mainly a popularity contest but its still a decent metric of talent at the highest level. They aren't a championship threat but sitting 50 games while healthy is absurd. Not to mention the lottery isn't even as fair as it once was to lower teams. Hes a 2 time MVP in his prime with 2 other all-stars and a HOF coach, they should be a respectable squad. I don't think they would make the playoffs but 40-42ish wins should be do-able, even if he plays 55 games. Jazz were 14-17 last season after 31 games and ended up winning 50. If GSW is 9-21 after 30, the three all stars and Kerr should be able to go 31-21 over the last 50
