That's two months and nearly 30 games away; by that time it'll be too late to make up the difference (8th seed won 48 games last season).
All-Stars is all about popularity and narrative - it doesn't mean anything when it comes to winning games. Never mind the fact that Dlo's not even a top-10 guard in the West.
Are you in favor of him sitting the season because he has a boo-boo on his hand? I assume not, you're just arguing to argue
All-star is mainly a popularity contest but its still a decent metric of talent at the highest level. They aren't a championship threat but sitting 50 games while healthy is absurd. Not to mention the lottery isn't even as fair as it once was to lower teams. Hes a 2 time MVP in his prime with 2 other all-stars and a HOF coach, they should be a respectable squad. I don't think they would make the playoffs but 40-42ish wins should be do-able, even if he plays 55 games. Jazz were 14-17 last season after 31 games and ended up winning 50. If GSW is 9-21 after 30, the three all stars and Kerr should be able to go 31-21 over the last 50
Not a top-10 guard out west?
Ok then, where would the D-Lo/Curry guard tandem rank in the west? top-3 right?
Healthy players should play
