I’m a youngish breh too and IMO a big reason for that is dudes gas them up online and in DMs but are too afraid to approach in person. I’m a square but back when I was in college all types of dudes were surprised that I would straight up walk up to girls who were strangers during the day and just strike up convos like I already knew them. A lot of young guys just don’t do that. I’d imagine a lot of these athletes never did that either since they got girls by default from being in school.

I can see the gassing up aspect, especially with some of these young athletes being heavy into their favorite OnlyFans models and IG baddies (i.e. Zion Williamson)
