His cap number is like 70m for the next two years so it’s almost impossible for them to move him or cut

Wouldn't it depend on the contract language? If that clause is in there and another valid accuser came forward, depending on the contract language, the deal could be voided or have a buyout and then the Browns could wash their hands of the situation.

It’s fully guaranteed, so they owe him every dollar even with his trash performance on the field.

Probably their hope is that he wants out of Cleveland bad enough that he’d give up bread to make it happen.

I'm not gonna shyt on Tomlin because I think he's a great coach, but he did not have a good night last night.

My biggest question is why didn't he tell his defense to let Chubb score on first and goal? That cost them like 40 seconds. They weren't gonna kneel on the ball and trust a kicker during a blizzard, they were always gonna try to score a TD. Just dumb

He's owed 145.9 million between the 25 and 26 seasons.

He's not giving that up. :mjlol:

The thing about the Browns is this: they have talent, they just need a QB to execute plays.

Sure, but this season is cooked and they should want to have their first pick at QB in the next draft. Almost everyone in the top 5 need a QB and there ain't that many first rounders to pick from without stretching.

they need OL help badly. Taking a QB and stashing him for the next 2 years until Nasty Man off the books might be a play too, but I dunno.

That's something I'm not sure about; losing Bill Callahan was HUGE for them. Their offensive line wasn't terrible last year.

Watson's arm strength is done after that injury last year, and now with the Achilles.. :picard:

I thought I read somewhere that the Browns had an out of the contract if anymore cases regarding him popped up? If that's the case, they might be in the clear.
Even if they could snake out there’s like a $95mil dead money cap hit which would cripple their cap either way :pachaha:

If I was Cleveland’s ownership I’m paying Cardi B to snatch Watson like she did Stephon Diggs :mjlol:

Get out of Cleveland and go where? :heh:

Nobody in the nfl wants any parts of him, his trash performance, or the PR hit you automatically take by acquiring him.

His football career might just be done after the 26 season unless he tries to reclaim his career in like…..Tennessee or something :pachaha:

There have been rumors that he and his team want him out of Cleveland, so it's going to come down to how much he wants to help them out to do it :russ:
