I find both to be true. It is ironic though, considering the narrative around the Steelers when Russ was placed into the starting lineup and the offense took a step up for several weeks.

You can’t tell me that the offense does not have your blueprint all over it. It is entirely too conservative. The running for the sake of running is beyond old. Frequently we run on 1st and if it’s stuffed we are immediately behind the chains and it’s almost impossible for us to get a 1st


Seeing other teams simply play pitch and catch is frustrating when we can’t seem to do that. We either do a toss or a hb plunge. Or a deep throw when every one knows it’s coming
