so this is a bad idea? is ketosis bad/are there other better methods?

thought this was interesting challenge and shows great results

I personally wouldn't do it long term for health purposes. If you do it to long term without regularly carbing up, you will eventually eat away at your muscles (and look flabby).

Of course in the beginning it will be mostly water weight as you deplete your glycogen stores. Just google ketogenic diets and figure out how you want it to work for you (that way you can learn a little bit of the science behind how/why it works).

It's just one of the many approaches to dieting. Won't matter that you're in ketosis if you not eating at a deficit. There are some advantages for the lean trying to get leaner, but that's another topic.

There's also a transition period your body goes through shifting from carb-based energy to fat-based energy. You'll feel lethargic for roughly 3 weeks.

I've been implementing parts of the paleothic diet for around 7 months now whilst keeping some non-paleo foods in and I've got in the best shape of my life right now.

I was always one of the guys at the gym that sweared by a low fat diet and never really concering myself with my carb intake. However once I decided to give the high fat/low carb diet (paleo) a go, I've achieved results I never thought possible and feel a lot better.

Do miss them carbs some days though, I'm not gonna lie. Those cheat days are well appreciated!
