I just went to the diner and had steak & eggs for lunch it was great and Im thinking of starting it as my new diet come Monday...

steak and eggs for breakfast or late lunch is ideal.

but try not to eat red meat late in the day (past 6 PM), especially if you're trying to lose weight. instead opt for chicken or fish.

How many times a day do you eat steak and eggs? I would imagine your cholesterol would be through the roof no?

basically you eat 2 big meals both steak and eggs with imminent fasting....then you get 1 cheat day on the weekends.....eggs apparently aren't bad cholesterol so it wont hurt your cholesterol count....the diet helps cause your body is deprived of carbs and ish and starts eating your body fat....heard its full proof and strips pounds...not a long term solution but good for a month or so.....and it gives you more energy and ish....

Conservative estimate is that at the quantities each meal would be about 3,200 calories total. Most likely if you were trying to lose weight you wouldn't be cutting cals to 3,200. That's over a lot of people general needs by a good bit.

Additionally the cheat day likely throws almost everything you MIGHT have achieved in the bushes.

You have to keep in mind that this was designed by a bodybuilder so their caloric needs far outweigh the general public.

Now if you adjusted that to you personally...................it could work :patrice:

That said getting shredded isn't happening without some muscle movement.

Yea, the servings would definitely need to be adjusted to the individual, but it would work for sure.

exactly modify to individual needs but the key is to live in the gym too....i go like 3 days a week i gotta squeeze in 5 to make it really happen.....but imma try this it looks promising ...aside from the some side effects like cramping and constipation :sadcam:

Well I've been doin research on this diet it obviously works ....the cheat days will actually help balance things but not much room for error I'd your just eating steak and eggs ...it's two things how can you mess it up ? There are even calendars out there to guide u

Monday thru Thursday
One meal per day consisting of 10-24oz. of fatty steak (ribeye, NY strip, etc.), 2-6 whole eggs and one glass of red wine allowed. (No beer for you!)

Friday
Same as above except you may have one additional glass of red wine and a handful of nuts, if so desired.

Weekend
On Saturday or Sunday (your choice) you can eat as many meals of “real” food as you want provided that at least one of these meals consists of steak and/or eggs. Feel free to have up to 3 glasses of red wine as well. For the remaining weekend day, anything goes. Eat and drink to your heart’s content.

It depends on the individual.

From what you posted on some of those days you could be at a fairly low calorie intake for the day, combined with increased exercise is that going to be easy to do?

Its basically calorie cycling/keto. Low at points during the week higher amounts on the weekend.

Bigger issue is that if you don't know your target calories how do you know if you aren't blowing through that every week?

It's just another ketogenic diet.

I was about to say the same thing. All he's doing is putting himself into ketosis and carbing up that one cheat day to likely prevent lean muscle loss.

so this is a bad idea? is ketosis bad/are there other better methods?

thought this was interesting challenge and shows great results
