I see it as, women who fetishize black men, have a idealized version of them. They place them on a pedestal. They don't see the real, full version like a black woman does. We grew up together, around each other, we're family, we're friends. And a real friend will tell you when you are fukking up, because we want to see you do better. We know you can which is why we push you so hard.
These other chicks, when the honeymoon period fades, when the thrill is gone and the experience gets old, will go back to what they know. It requires a lot of effort and time to get to know someone intimately who is from a different place and culture, which is why many IR relationships fail, especially those based on lust and fetishism.
Unfortunately, building healthy relationships has been difficult in the black community because of white supremacy and the added pressures of bei black in America but I think there is a shift towards healing that rift and it starts with open communication.
