it is very dehumanizing for a black person to be used as an excuse for a white person trying to avoid the consequences for their racist actions. you've previously mentioned bm lovers as well. by doing this you are doing several things
(1) treating the black people in your life as uncle toms to be sacrificed to save you
(2) you redirect the anger you caused others from coming at you so that it is directed at innocent black friends. crowd opinion goes from "she's racist" to "they're c00ns for being friends with her" once you drag your friends/lovers into the conflict.



if you weren't racist, then you'd let your actions speak for themselves. if your actions are screaming racist, then you're racist.
