To be 100, I feel this way about non-blacks in general.
To understand and appreciate Black men at the highest level, one must have the ability to empathize with the path they've taken. Of course, there are differences between Black men and women, but we are more alike than we are different. Part of my DNA came from a Black man. My brothers, uncles, cousins, nephews, etc. are Black men and seeing the struggles they endure on a daily basis strengthens that connection I have with them, because I know, in my own way, what it is they're dealing with.
