Statistics currently most used are often misleading and don't tell nearly the whole story and FG% is indeed the most overrated and misleading of the main stats in basketball. Thing about statistics though is that everything that the current statistics miss can be quantified in a new statistic that is harder to keep track of so the fault doesn't really lie with statistics in themselves but rather our use of them.

However, Kobe has clearly been making some bad decisions so far this season. He should defer to Lin and others more. Laker fans keep saying when Kobe passes his teammates keep fukking up but far as I know Lin is shooting better than Kobe this season. Have to make smart plays, not give it to your most legendary player and hope for the best. Also, they should talk less about 'locking in on D' and rather just go out and actually do it if they ever wanna reach 10 wins this season.

Kobe's trash, don't need stats to notice him shooting his team out of winnable games and playing no defense.

Kobe might not be top 20 and is definitely not top 15.

Edit: @houston911 :umad:fakkit, truth hurts breh
