Spinoff of @H.R. Puff-N-Bluntz thread on comic book opinions, but just on movies. Could be directors, movies, actors, film characters, whatever. No judging, this is a safe space:maybe:

*I'm not a big fan of 2001. I've watched it several times trying to figure out what am I missing and each time I come away going "meh"

*Hook is a good movie.

*I know the Coens and QT and Fincher and a lot of other directors get a lot of love (rightfully so) but Spielberg is still the greatest living director on the planet.

*Casino feels too much like a Goodfellas sequel to really hold a place in my heart or mind.

Yeah, "Skyfall" was sorta of a disappointment based on how much it was hyped up. It ain't touching "Casino Royale".

don't feel it's the best from top to bottom but it's definitely got the best action climax at the end.

I disagree with both of you so much but rules is rules.

I think Donnie Darko is overrated as fukk and I cannot get with Vertigo. I get it, but it's not compelling to me at all.

I think 2009 Friday the 13th is the 2nd best flick in the whole series and we poo poo remakes too much and let nostalgia blind us with these shyts
