Knicks - I'm from NYC
Giants - I'm From NYC
NY Rangers - I'm from NYC
Yankees - I'm from NYC. Specifically grew up in Queens near Shea stadium. I was a wresting fan as a kid and so was my pops. He always cheered for the heels which would make me angry. I kinda took to not liking a lot of things he liked just to be the opposite. When I started to pay attention to baseball in 94 (which was the only sport my dad really loved), I focused on the Yankees. He would try to give me Mets gear but I straight up refused to wear it. It hurts him to this day that I'm a Yankees fan
Arsenal - A friend of mine let me borrow his gamecube when he went away for the summer and one of the games he had was Fifa 03. Arsenal had a lot of black players in the squad which you didn't see a lot of in the better teams in the game. Thierry Henry became my favorite player and I've been a fan ever since. Weirdly I didn't become a fan of a Serie A club b/c I used to watch Serie A every weekend b/c Rai tv (Italian state tv) was part of our basic cable package somehow. Until we got satellite tv in 2006, I only was able to catch Arsenal games when they played in the Champions League which espn had the rights to.
