They gotta reinvent themselves. Get some draft picks back and develop at least a couple of young players. Outside of the center position part of the Lakers great history is that they drafted well and their players improved.. some of them even turning into all time greats- Kobe, Magic, Worthy.. all the way down to the AC Greens, Rambis, Bryon Scott, Michael Cooper's, Vlade Divac, etc. That's my question, what happened to the Lakers drafting well as part of the equation of consistency and winning? Poaching from other teams for rings can only be sustained for so long. You could see the Lakers beginning to spread themselves too thin a few years ago

Lakers didnt draft Kobe

Holy shyt, people are still saying to feed dwight the ball? Why? Because he has such an effective game around the basket and will always find the open shooter?

DWIGHT IS NOT SHAQ

He's not even Alonzo Mourning on one kidney on the offensive end.

Dwight in the post WILL draw a double team. This is B-Ball Offense 101. Slash behind the double team, hockey assist to open shooter, draw fouls etc. Only good things when there's double teams in the paint :obama: Dwight is not Shaq, but in this era of weak azz centers, he might as well be Wilt Chamberlain to these nikkaz. Outside of Ibaka and Chandler, is anybody gonna slow down Dwight within 5 feet of the basket?
