Thats not the message. They are saying "Meth. Im on it." like saying "Meth. Im on top of it (the problem)"
That's not the message at all lol. This is just another attempt by the media to make a red state look stupid. But spending 500K on adds is stupid af so:yeshrug:

They didn't get trolled. I work in advertising and work on similar type pf accounts as this too.

When the agency won the RFP, they had multiple steps in the process where the brainstormed and did creative mock ups and strategy meetings with the state of SD.

More than likely SD chose this out of a few ides probably because of how simple it is and how it would make ppl talk

This makes sense and it’s insightful

They should have hired that nikka Looking Glass to help out, cause this shyt is :scusthov:

Nah its great. Theres a difference between great creative (video/images) and effective creative.

70% of the time, the client (south dakota) is going to run with effective. Its a competitive field and companies are shooting for % of timeshare in your mind.

This is being covered nationwide (for free by social media) because it sounds funny but they have officially reached top of mind. You say meth. Im on it." The whole world knows exactly where that came from.

See but thats where ur probably wrong. It took off organically.

They may have budgeted 80K in paid media geotargeting south dakota, and because of he content, its received $1+ million in free exposure media nationwide
