Stat Quo pissed off Eminem; His LP never dropped - admits Dr. Dre 'Compton' album was wack.

y'all do realize interscope forces rappers to make pop and mainstream shyt , they are the WOAT label for rappers
No... a lot of interscope artists are still making uncompromised music.

For example, the tde rappers are signed to interscope and are still free to make their own music.

Even kendrick's single didn't make the cut on the album. Even rick rubin said interscope gave kendrick full creative control over his music. Why would they let him create his own music, but not less popular rappers like SH, or more popular mcees like Eminem?

this. Nobody is forcing eminem to make that pop/rock/rap music. Thats the music he has been music since day1.

Slim Anus wasn't making pop music when he was opening up for House Of Krazees in 1997 though

i think Stat didn't know Compton was an Apple Exclusive, that's why it didn't sell too well. chances are most of Dre's fans from back then didn't even know it dropped. or maybe they just grew out off rap music.

Add to that the fact the first song is some of the worst shyt Dre ever made. First impressions last and that song was terrible.

Compton needed videos

Darkside/Gone
For the Love of Money
Talking To My Diary
Animals

And just for the sake of stretching out singles, All In A Day's Work

Compton would've stuck around longer IF it would've had videos. Videos ain't like they use to be, all on tv, but every nikka and they mama still watch em' by way of youtube

TDE by itself was a indie company, but Interscope then wanted to partner up with them after Dre decided he wanted to work with Kendrick.
