I like the show. It's not high art or anything and if you are expecting Sopranos levels of quality then you are being unrealistic. It is a soapy drama with a decent amount of violence and sex.
Its basically a New Jack City style of urban gangster drama.

Look at the sticky thread. It got more numbers than anything up there besides the Netflix thread just off 8 eps. It's not doing those numbers cause it's wack. It's not great television by any means but it is entertaining.

I don't think it's great by any means breh but it's a fun soap opera to get into

I cringe every time I see the wife in a scene. IMO all she does is whine, nag, and manipulate. The only character that I didn't like thus far, I can even tolerate the white actor more than her.

Well they give her a tad more depth as it goes on and you get to understand why she is the way she is. She senses her husband is pulling away from her and growing up. They don't want the same things anymore and that life is all she knows
