I feel like my muscles are good, I just need to shred the post-wedding flab I put on over the last 6 months and I'll be good. Played ball last night and feel fine today so hopefully I'm not too :flabbynsick: to get through this next 2 months.

I did that shyt for 2 weeks before I said fukk it. Good luck my nigg that shyt ain't no joke. I plan on starting it again in a couple months. Now I'm focus on heavy lifting.

Did the first fit test about 12 hours ago, I've taken 4 dumps since then. :krs:

I've gotten soft in the middle, this will def help tone me back up.

This program wasn't right for me, ended up messing up my skeletal alignment and had to go to an osteopath to get it straightened out. Was out of commission for about 10 weeks and then was cleared for swimming and light exercise.

So yeah, if you put on 20 pounds in a year, don't do Insanity, the extra weight will cause you to do the moves out of balance and injure yourself.

you probably could've lost the weight just doing the fit test over and over. I gave my homeboy the whole set and he never made it past the fit test but he lost like 20 pounds though

I don't doubt that, the fit test was really good. The actual workouts involve a lot more jumping and holding of deep squat positions. Doing that kind of thing when extremely fatigued leaves you open to compromising your form, which is what caused me issues.

Now I'm just swimming, riding the bike, doing pushups and some light weights. My left hip and the lower abdomen above it is still weak, and I'll probably start physiotherapy next year when my benefits refresh to get it all straightened out. For the rest of this year I'm just trying to shed pounds and not do any further damage.

yeah this makes the most sense, no need for an overweight/obese person to legit follow the entire program start to finish (probably couldnt anyway)

i started insanity not too long ago too, still on the fit test tbh (wont move on until i get desirable numbers w/ each exercise)

I love it. I've been doing it for 3 weeks now...although I haven't been successful in doing it 6 times a week, but between 4-5. I do it in combination with Butt Bible - great lower body exercises, although the chick who hosts it is a bit annoying.

How long before people saw results doing Insanity? Did you eat clean as well, or "mostly" healthy?
