You said Iverson won a weak Eastern Conference. McGrady and Carter were both in that "weak" Eastern Conference. Hell, Carter had a jump shot that could have beaten Iverson that season.

AI averaged more points, steals, and assists, plus his team won.

Iverson played PG and controlled the ball a lot more than Carter did. His assist totals should be higher.
Iverson gambled a lot. So of course he racked up a lot steals. His defense was still terrible.
33 points on 40% or 30 points on 47% shooting?
Carter played better. Not even debatable.
