Tariq might be my favorite character

Only thing I don't like about it and this is the same issue I had with some of my other favorite sitcoms, Is there being no episode to episode continious storytelling.


Shows like Martin and King of Queens vs Friends, How I Met Your Mother, Scrubs, A Different World, etc. Love them all but definitely prefer a season that tells a story throughout.

Not sure where you are but Janine's development has been continuous throughout the series.

Halfway through s2 and while I get what you’re saying…..Nah


Maybe when they introduce/say whatever actually happened with her mom & sister.


Tariq is supposed to be the freeloading bum that held her back but I like his character way more than hers and the kids seem to like him more too

By the time you get into 3 it should be clear. It was stunning when I went back to season 1 after season 3. Its a few stories that you saw the build...I dont wanna spoil though. I do think one may be pretty obvious at this point.

I said it before, Tariq is their Urkel/Fonz. The rest of the show is just so good that he didnt overshadow/takeover.
