I'm kind of scratching my head trying to figure out who to start this upcoming week.
QB: Tom Brady
RB: C.J. Spiller
RB: Jamaal Charles
WR: Brandon Lloyd
WR: Antonio Brown
WR: Kenny Britt???
TE: Jimmy Graham
QB ()/RB/WR/TE: Darren Sproles???
My bench is:
Kenny Britt @ SD
Darren Sproles @ CAR
Jake Locker @ SD
Danny Amendola vs WSH
Justin Blackmon vs HOU
Randall Cobb vs CHI
Stephen Hill @ PITT
Alshon Jeffrey @ GB
Jared Cook @ SD
Owen Daniels @ Chicago
I kind of hate that I'm sort of being forced into playing a QB at the flex. But my backup is Jake Locker and it's difficult to tell what kind of a game he will have on Sunday.
I think that Amendola
could give me some points but I think some of the others might have better production.
I'm disinclined to play Blackmon given the defensive performance that I just saw from the Texans. But I suppose it could be argued that he's more talented than any receiver that Miami has--but he's also injured.
I don't think Cobb is even a realistic option really as a starting wide receiver at this point (who knows down the line). Maybe better suited as a flex option during a bye for some better options.
I think Stephen Hill is talented and could have another monster game this season. I just don't know necessarily that the game will be against the Steelers in Pittsburgh. He's also has a minor injury as well if I recall correctly.
I really like Alshon and liked what he showed week one when given a chance. The matchup against a Green Bay D that looked pretty terrible is pretty attractive. But he's also a rookie and the game is also at Green Bay--how much do nerves play into this?
Cook looked good in the New England game and I think he might have led the team in receiving but he didn't get any touchdowns. I'm not really a believer in San Diego's defense (
) but it is too early to tell if they improved as it was only the Raiders they played.
I also have Owen Daniels,
