There's stereotypical HS moments like varsity jacket jocks, loser table, popular girls etc. but they only spend like 10 mins total at the school and some of those characters are future JSA members. She starts training with the staff almost right after she finds it since she has no friends Also Luke Wilson is the other character they focus on outside of Courtney
