They are very confident in this game. The embargo on reviews ends August 31st. Either that or the the early access forced their hand but the reviews are a couple hours before the early access goes live.

That doesn’t matter. It’s a good year to be a fan of RPGs. Two solid RPGs are coming out back to back. One a traditional CRPG and the other a more action oriented one. Everyone gets to have fun.

Ehh, I dont think BG3 can "eat starfield's lunch" tbh. Starfield gonna be massive, sales wise, even without being on PS5. BG3 is more of a surprise hit sorta thing. No one had BG3 being a GOTY contender.

Apparently sales for BG3 are over 5M (2.5Mish from the Early Access).
