I could kindasorta see it if it were shaped to be analogous to Greek tragedy style patricide mythologies...but Star Wars has been so much all over the place that at this point it's just

Have y'all not seen the Marvel issue that revealed Emperor Palpatine as Anakin Skywalker's father?
That makes Rey and Kylo kissing cousins.
You dug up an old article that came before that Darth Vader issue breh. This was just a vision Vader had based on his worst fears, Lucasfilm has come out to say it's not supposed to make that cannon.
Did Luke really cut his own head off in the Dagobah cave?
After 'Rise of Skywalker,' Lucasfilm exec denies major Anakin-Vader theory
this article is from 3 weeks ago. The Vader comic is from 2018.You dug up an old article that came before that Darth Vader issue breh.
Concept art for Colin Trevorrow's version of episode IX came out
Maybe the execution would make us hate it all the same I dunno but there were far more interesting ideas in his movie versus what were got.
I honestly liked Trevorrow's script a lot better tbh I still haven't seen ROS though.
while i don't want to stick up for Star Wars and while I don't want to shame users... blame Carrie Fisher's junkie ass for Rise of Skywalker too. the Treverow stuff sounded pretty damn good, but Carrie dying fukked everything up. i mean, she shouldn't have been a huge part of the overall plan from the getgo, imo, but it's true, her death set this all on a fukked path.
oh don't get me wrong, they did a shytty job in RotS with her. terrible job actually. i mean, this sucks, but even if they opened the movie and said she ascended to a higher plane or died offscreen, they could have just CGI'd her with that blue glow for a few scenes and it would have been a built in excuse for how shytty she looked.Conversely, they could've done a better job writing her out, and shouldn't even have used the footage. I recall after her death they said they wouldn't use any footage or use her in the final part of the trilogy.
