I definitely think that Boyega is about to glow in this though. Ford was saying how he was able to bring humor to the role. And Mayhew of course said the same thing, while also calling Ridley a little stiff....

Coincidentally, I think that Ridley/Boyega may end up being like Hamill/Ford in ANH, in more ways than one....

Perhaps I read that article wrong but I could have sworn the actor playing Chewbacca was referencing off camera. No way he would straight up blast a young co-stars acting (especially the lead) pre launch of what is set to be one of the biggest tentpole movies ever. Dude basically intimated in time she'll grow out of her shell but at now she comes off anti-social. While boyega was more down to earth and charismatic, had nothing to do with their acting

I need more Star Wars NOW. I'm about to watch Empire of Dreams, since I've already watched PT, and only have Sith left.

When you watch these movies back-to-back, they're really not that disjointed. Obi Wan is a liar, but he's also a liar between IV & VI. Nothing happens in I, but not much happens in Jedi either.

Seems a lot of folks have expressed some sort of issue with Daisy's acting at some point, JJ included:
