Actually those "fur/extensions" are bushes in the background...you can tell because they're also on the left side of the screen.

As I said earlier, did you notice how in the trailer Finn had an "oh shyt" look on his face when Kylo and him started dueling....which indicates there's a strong possibility he could get struck down.

There's no indication of Han being in that scene...so considering this, it's likely Finn.
