Clone Wars gave us Ahsoka, a likable/personable/understandable Anakin, Obi Wan going full 
on the entire galaxy and more lore and action wise.

Im still in season one of both, but although similar art style I prefer rebels more.
I'm late and I hate I let my disdain for the new trilogy keep me from watching rebels. It actually felt like Star Wars and Ezra is a really good character. They all are. The inquisitors are dope

It was good, maybe not as detailed as clone wars but it was dope. At first I wasn’t a fan of kannan but the way he and Ezra went out made them two of my favorites in the Star Wars universe.
Just finished it and I think it's just as good as clone wars. I kinda wish they found a way to incorporate Ezra and Ashoka in the new trilogy. Maybe that would have helped it. The show is legit

I could be wrong but I think that was intentional to highlight how flawed the Jedi Order was. It was the Order's own arrogance that led to its demise anyway, so I took it as an extension of that
As a kid watching Clone Wars on TV (Fridays
) I loved how important they made side characters. They did a good job fleshing out the less notable Star Wars characters. Anytime I saw Greivous on TV against a lesser known Jedi I knew it was over for them

I prefer Rebels because they added new characters and I loved the journeys of Kanan Sabine and Ezra. I can't wait to see Sabine, Ezra and Ashoka Tano in live-action in the next few years.
After watching rebels in mad because it was soooooo good and they should have used Ezra and Ashoka in the new trilogy. They should have made Ezra and Sabines Reys parents.
