Needed to do a Vader solo flick instead of hans solo flick and call it a day. And more jedi saber fights. Give the people what they wanna see.

that's really all there is though, which is why i'm sayin the 'universe' concept doesn't apply to this franchise. it's too limited.

there's literally only two kinds of heroes in this universe, those that carry blasters and those that carry lightsabers. maybe they pilot a ship to boot, that's basically it.

any movie you set in this universe will end up featuring the same character types over and over again.

that's one hell of a simplification. You could make that argument for any "universe."

The movies have been limited under Disney because they bushed the entire EU, simple as that.

not really...

cap, iron man, thor, spidey, black panther, dr strange, ant man.... all movies starring characters with vastly different abilities and set in vastly different worlds. way more variety and flavor, especially when it comes to action sequences. there's no limit to what you can do. you can establish any kind of character.

every star wars movie will feature either a hero with a lightsaber or a blaster... and the actions scenes are all roughly the same.

Avengers compound
Star Wars has a TON if characters and stories they could utilize for films and franchises. The problem is Disney said a huge chunk is no longer canon:snoop:The amount of expansion the force alone could get between the light and darkside:snoop:Siths that can just walk into a room and just tamper with others emotions and jedis can do the same. Hell you could make a film on star killer:whoo::whoo:

Not nearly that complicated lol. Disney has no idea what to do with the well liked established characters the end.

Besides the sequel trilogy being ass. They fukked up by ERASING the Extended Universe. It had some truly dope stories that were RIPE for cinema and they basically said “fukk it. We’re gonna basically remake the OG trilogy with an overhyped Mary Sue, an emasculated buffoon of a black guy, and for good measure we’ll say fukk the skywalkers and end the lineage with old disgraced Luke dying alone on a rock!”
I'm still mad they axed the EU. That General Grievous origin story:mjcry:
