Started my rewatch for this. Man the way episode 3 hits is so good :wow:. Knowing the highs that are to come

  • The way Luthen was 3 steps ahead of those officers at every step was beautiful.
  • The officers really forcing their way to those civilians was just brutal. But man the taste of defeat when Andor got away.
  • One thing that is funny with Timm is that he was a normal dude who thought his girl was cheating on him. He became irrational and that led to him reporting Andor. Well, he is dead now.
  • Love the cinematography as we see where Maarva found and adopted Andor. At the same time, it shows Andor leaving with Luthen.
Honestly, them releasing the season in batches similar to Arcane is a great decision.

On episode 4 like how it expands.

  • For Andor, Luthen asks for his aid for a suicide mission on the Garrison. Though literally Luthen was like you ain't taking Klem I am cancelling the operation :birdman:.
  • Man how Luthen can pull off that disguise was amazing. Cool to see Mon Mothma and her funding what Luthen is trying to do. But of course between work and coming back at home she is dealing with Pro Imperials. A lot on her plate.
  • After all the shyt that happens in Ferrix, it's really interesting to see how the empire is now getting involved. Lieutenant Supervisor Blevin basically looking at Syril Karn and the other two idiots and being disgusted at their incompetence. Of course the device that Luthen told Andor to leave behind is a key piece and interest of the empire. Though there is a lot to digest from the empire side.

Finished Episode 6 delivered. It really showcased how everyone has a different cause they are fighting for.

  • Karis being what you normally think of when you think Rebels from the OG Trilogy. Wanting to fight for the cause to go against the Evil empire. He was clutch in saving Cassian so they could escape. But man the fact the kid didn't make is tragic :mjcry:.
  • Arvel being similar to Cassian holds up because he is purely looking out for himself. That is more evident to when he stops covering for Taramyn. Indicating he wanted as much money that he could get out of this. Before caring about the mission itself. Although deep down he had a soft spot for Karis, I believe. The tension between him and Cassian was always well done. Although him killing Arvel showing that Cassian has a long way to go until he is where he is Rouge one.
  • The rebels are labeled as the good guys in the Star Wars universe, but we rarely see what they do what push comes to shove. Here we have them taking the mother and son hostage. While they are affiliated with the empire, but that doesn't mean they are guilty of what the empire has done. To even add that the officer who told the group to let the boy go got shot. Kind of a point that not everything is black & white. Not everyone affiliated with the empire is scum like the father/husband. There are people like Cassian and Arvel who aren't pure of heart.
  • Cinematography is top-notch much like episode 3. But here it really demonstrated how much of a suicide mission it was.
