This honestly makes the writing on the other Star Wars movies and shows look like kiddy shyt. I ain’t even gone lie, I’m one of the people who was mostly interested in the Jedi but I’m glad they did a show without them in it.

agreed…I feel the mandalorian is more in line with most of the star wars films as far as the lighthearted campiness and heavy action along with the “cuteness” factor of some characters and the comic relief they provide

with this show it was a bit more dark and they did a great job of making the viewer realize how high the stakes were…and even tho you know how things will ultimately work out, you still get that sense of hopelessness some of those who were fighting the empire probably felt

I still got about 30 minutes left in the season finale…don’t tell me I just accidentally found out luthen is a jedi (just thinking out loud don’t answer that) :lupe:
No I think he a sith that was almost palpatines apprentice.

The thing in Star Wars is there is always another sith trying to take the throne.

I think as things develop we will find out Luther built the rebellion to take out his rival sith masters.

I think it's more subtle than that. He mentioned using the 'tools of his enemy'.

He's been fighting the Sith so long, he became a 'virtual' Sith unintentionally.

She's in Return of the Jedi

oh wow that’s dope…lol I literally haven’t seen return of the jedi since it was in theaters and I was maybe about 9…I saw the empire strikes back in theaters too as a child…I haven’t really watched either of them in full since then…I wanted to watch the remastered versions when they came out but I’m worried about seeing the movies now since I have such strong memories of how great the movies were as a kid…I’ve seen the 1977 star wars film on TV several times tho…fukk it…this would be a perfect time to watch it in “order”—andor, rogue one then episode 4-6

“I’ve been in this fight since I was 6 years old.” :wow:

that line hits harder…I wonder what complaints I had about the movie when I first watched it…I could see myself not like andor’s character…not knowing his background, it’s possible he would’ve come across as mad shiesty and too on the edge to me

it’s weird that some actors/actresses can shine on a television series but that doesn’t translate to movies…it does for many but not for all…to be fair tho, this came out before narcos and andor…maybe diego luna could’ve just became a much better actor
