Brehs, I'm sitting here watching Star Trek: TNG and theres an episode where all the crew members get some kind of virus and start mutating into the primal versions of their species, the humans mutated into primates/fish and Worf (being a Klingon) devolves into some kind of ancient precursor of a Klingon.

They look similar to how they are on Discovery and have no hair also

yeah I know. Did voyager in 2015, DS9 last year. Watched like seasons 1-3 of TNG but stopped to watch othr shyt
i think the general consensus is that the first 2 seasons of TNG were weak (minus a few episodes here n there) but everything after that is considered pretty much the best in the franchise outside of the original series.

then DS9 comes in third place after TOS and TNG

Voyager 4th and then Enterprise

too early to call with Disco, but I'm fukkin with it. My guess is that it will be DS9 level which is quality.

no doubt. They really found their footing season in later seasons. some of my fave eps in the franchise are in those later seasons...just gotta start watching it again, after I get through some other random shows I started midway watching TNG

Discovery will never be DS9 quality. Load of shyte. I'm giving it this episode because it's the Frakes directed one then I'm more than likely giving up. This isn't Trek.
I agree with you for the most part that last episode felt like trek but the others not really.

The writing on DS9 was so top notch.

After the JJ movies and now Discovery, I'm about done with this franchise. It's just generic space action at this point.

Lethe (the episode with Sarek) was the only Discovery episode that felt like it had any depth to it.

I feel you man im hanging in there even though i feel like they have been disrespectful to the old fans and are just worried about action discovery still has potential and im hanging in there. You might enjoy this recent thread i made.
