They fooled us with the first eps of this season. The simple fact that Star has to look at Nadeska and ask "Can I go there?" before he talks his shyt just proves that he has been dumbed down for this bum ass show. Just gon wait for clips to drop, fukk watching this shyt.

What Star was saying about Jay Electronica was true tho.

I thought this episode was good but it's mad uncomfortable watching Star on the show not because he's not good because I'm a fan from way back but you can obviously tell he's being dumbed down and the chick co hosting is just waiting for him to be fired. I think they realized they are outmatched and don't like it say what you want about star but no other personality is doing the research he is about new content.

She used to work at MTV and mtv news as a journalist. Came to Complex, did a couple big interviews as well with them. Wasn’t even supposed to be on the show. The creator of Complex was the original moderator and Joe said they needed a female instead. Had a few names in mind (Scottie Beam) but she never got back to him in time and Nadeska was literally thrown on the day of the first taping.

We said in this thread it was a desperation move. They were going from an average of 500K views to struggling to do 10% of that. So far the move worked but they have to figure out how to sustain it. As many cracks at this as they have, they understand how important momentum is. ES is the most successful thing Complex has ever done.

That comment was a slick way of sayin that Complex doesn’t pay. He may not literally be losing money, but it let everyone know what joe was saying was right.


This episode was better than yesterday’s episode by a long shot. And if they can do something like this (a little more polish is all they need) everyday with a splash of episode 1 here and there, the show shouldn’t be too bad. I’m sure Complex would much rather Star attack other artists than his co hosts.
Star won’t get credit for this but it looks like he’s actively trying to get her more involved. Probably the most I’ve seen Nadeska give actual opinion. She did take a few shots at him but unless y’all looking to be mad, it wasn’t that serious.

I watched the majority of all 3 episodes and I think they gotta let star take the lead and let him set the tempature of the show

He gotta be that dikkhead old head that swears he knows everything and ak gotta be the dude with the younger pov who’s more level headed to provide the counter argument

You gotta let star control the conversation though or I don’t think it’s gonna work
