i'll put coli cash up that star knows more about current popular hip-hop music than joe on his best day. joe's expertise was derived from his own experiences. joe's chemistry with ak worked cause he was the grumpy old man hating on all the new nikkas ak rode for, and the fact he didn't always listen before hating made it even funnier. but if you watched everyday struggle it should be obvious joe wasnt a fan of doing much research.

star's experience is media-based. i dont think people really understand he's been doing this shyt since the early 90's. the platform is different, but he knows this game inside and out.

whether he can keep up with today's fans remains to be seen.

That's all good and well, but out of everything I've seen from Star, I've never seen him dissect music like Joe has. Who knows, maybe he is good at it and will show it now that he has this platform, but this is a guy that has said he doesn't gaf about hip-hop. The chatty patty stuff is needed, but lets see how he's gonna be when the actual music topics come up.
