I don’t even think the comments were that serious

It was obviously a joke and he said that shyt before he even knew he was going to be working with her

She’s probably more offended about other remarks he’s made in the past (Aaliyah, envy’s daughter)

Plenty of people have lost jobs and seen legal repercussions from so-called "jokes." This isn't "he say she say." That's blatant cause for someone to not feel safe in their work environment. Would you want your little sister to work with a guy who publicly said what Star said? Add in his history and any benefit if the doubt is gone. They chose ratings over their female employee.

If she wasn't employed by Complex she'd bounce, but my theory is that she doesn't have a solid net to fall on & feels powerless. Sounds like many of those #MeToo workplace harassment stories coming out.

according to Star nadeska and ak signed off on him being a co-host on the show

if they found out about star's comments after the fact i'm pretty sure complex would have approached nadeska and asked her is she was still ok with star being on the show

they only taped one show at that point so i dont think view/ratings were a factor in any decision to keep star

Like I sais she prolly gonna say she felt she was pressured to say "yes" to him staying, due to job security fears. Anyone would believe her too. They didn't have many other viable choices, especially if they chose a person like Star and the ratings were already in a nosedive. Pure desperation move post-Joe.

I'm telling ya, this finna be a case study.

This was another good episode :yeshrug:
Yup, organic discusssion. Not just disagreeing to argue. This show might not be as entertaining as it was with Joe, but it might end up being way more informative. Star has had Ak on point with the research it seems. Last year, they would have talked about how they “skimmed the documents” and “caught pieces of the Angie interview” but this time they came prepared and spoke on it with real insight.

It’s less filler which is why i don’t think there’s any issue with the shorter time length. There isn’t 15 minutes of yelling only to say “i don’t care about that”

Nadeska not that good of an actress. I think it really is squashed. I think it genuinely was her decision being she’s the only person on the show who’s actually a co worker. I don’t see them throwing her under the bus like that for some fukking Star. I think he was contrite and i think they’re truly working together to make this better cause damn near everything we’ve discussed, they’ve actively improved. Nadeska not ganging up on Star. AK being more prepared. Star not berating Ak. These have been much better episodes.

People are going to cry on Star anytime he says something *offensive* & *hurtful*. Meanwhile outraged will play a clip of Eddie Murphy's Raw about gay people observation and be laughing in the privacy of their own home at their computer monitor.

We live in a insane asylum where it concerns how to behave & react. It's now a career to spot the offensive remark. That's the CAREER.

Well, all is fair in love & war. For years offensive comments were created to generate a occupation in print/radio/tv/etc. I can't hate on a new game. How could anyone? :wow: Get your money but don't get froggy at a response that has a rational reasoned weight to it. When you stand on the soapbox, you have to understand that no soapbox is tip-proof. The louder you get in public with your rant/manifesto on why something is offensive, people are WAITING for you to step over the line. That's why no is going to silence their mic. :francis:
