Exactly. But the longer he would have stayed the more leverage Joe would have had to demand more pay. The show was gaining momentum daily, and on the track to being huge. Joe shoulda stayed and took advantage of that.

Cause after his contract ended, he & Ak coulda took the show and moved it somewhere else... fukk complex. They need Everyday Struggle more than Everyday Struggle needs them. What does Complex provide them that they can't provide for themselves? Besides Nedeska?

I'm not sure how else that company makes money, but their Youtube/entertainment content is boring, white washed, and you can tell it's created by people not of the culture (ie: whites & non-blacks). The only reason they have a lot of subscribers is cause Youtube promotes their shyt on the homepage, and suggested videos box, but nikkas don't fukk with Complex.
:scust:

Everyday Struggle was the only thing that gave Complex a little bit of credibility in hiphop (barely)... but now they back where they always been.... some lame ass Cac shyt.

Edit: Also I would bring up the fact this company discriminates against Black Women, but that's another topic.
Who knows what the contract covers and I think Joe satisfied enough with the podcast. Complex was making bank from sponsorships for the show while none of the 3 got shyt for it. I'd leave too, you not getting the bag weekly off my essence and you don't even throw me a bone.

Or maybe young people's are simply uninteresting and trivial. If a show consisted of AK and Nadeska, how long do you think it would last? You can only talk about Drake, Lil Pump and the rest of these tattoo face, colorful dread midgets so long.

They can't really talk about older artists in details because they don't know their history. It's as simple as that.
I don't understand how yall nikkas talkin bout "Star is great for the show", :hhh: it just shows that you nikkas on this forum are in your 40's and relate to Star (Nothin wrong with that by the way) :ehh:

But from my point of view, Star's entire presence is very.......awkward, and out of place. As if Nadeska's awakwardness wasn't enough.
I can tell this dude Star doesn't really know whats going on forreal forreal, in the culture. He reads stuff here and & there, but he has no idea where the culture has been in the last 7 years, where it's at, or where it's going.... He seems like he sits at home and researches the rap game every night in preparation for the show. He does present good points, and does have knowledge on certain things. But he's not a good fit for this show in my opinion.

Regardless this show will never be would it could have been with Joe Budden.

Joe Budden is a damn fool for leaving this show.... if he would have gave this show 1 year it would have been huge. Then he coulda quit, cashed out, and moved the platform to his own shyt.

I wonder how Joe, Star, AK would do on a show together? :jbhmm:

Firstly, ain't that supposed to be your job? to research and try to keep up to date with what's going on?

And not knowing the culture or whats been going on? shyt, sounds like a whole bunch of rappers if you ask me.

Bruh...I liked Budden and have listened to
his podcast each and every Wednesday for the last 2 years. I want him to pick it back up on camera somewhere.

So I’m not on some either/or picking sides shyt like you seem to be. I’m speaking objectively based on what the show is TODAY and moving forward. People just need to not even bring Joe up when it comes to this show after this week. That phase is over, and I’m sure both Joe and Star feel the same because they’re mature about it and respect one another.
Know you already know dudes can't like two people at the same time... it's either one of the other (kobe or jordan) (MJ or Prince) ect...

I'm an old head and this is my opinion. Hip hop has been at a crossroads for the past 10 years. With the surge of social media influence the weirdo, moist, fukboy energy has taken the breath out of the culture. AK has built his entire brand trolling that market. After losing Budden the show needed a supreme hater like Star to balance the pendulum. Nedaska seems reliable so I hope the show does well.

Listened to the latest Star Chambers and even those sound tamer in comparison to the pre-Everyday Struggle streams, I hope diet Star is a long con until something else pops off.
