Sting didn't need to let HHH pin him though they should have just finished the match with DX & NWO in the ring mixing it up.
If JBL wasn't shytting on WCW the entire time on commentary, I'd be cool with it. I absolutely despise how the WWE portrays WCW as second rate when they almost bankrupted Vince. Yeah, Vince won the war. That's good. But let's not pretend like WCW didn't leave a positive impact on the business.
Everything they criticize WCW for doing, they're doing it right now themselves. Piping in/muting chants? Check. Not letting the lower card advance (e.g. Dolph Ziggler/Zack Ryder)? Check. Not letting the females wrestle? Check. Pushing someone who can't carry a match (e.g. Goldberg)? Check (Roman Reigns).
It's funny, man. I've been watching the Monday Night Wars on the Network, and they're doing the exact same things.
