I think cuz he was the editor in charge at marvel.

Lee actually did do a lot, but everyone knows when you work for a company, anything created there becomes intellectual property. He also did help create the characters (maybe not draw though).

Isn't it made clear to artists/ writers that characters they create working on these titles belong to the company? I'm pretty sure that's standard procedure

'The Image Revolution' is a doc that deals with that issue - MacFarlane, Jim Lee, Silvestri, Rob Liefeld and them basically said 'fukk That Noise' and started their own company.

'The Image Revolution' is a doc that deals with that issue - MacFarlane, Jim Lee, Silvestri, Rob Liefeld and them basically said 'fukk That Noise' and started their own company.

Its just a telling of how they didn't understand copyright claims. Lee worked for a publishing company, so he already understood the business end of things. Hence why he's in the films his characters star in, MacFarlane is an idiot who thought one character would bring him millions, Liefeld was Marvel's whore till they found out he couldn't draw feet (no joke)...and Jim Lee....actually his mindset is perfect; bandwagon to the new hotness.
