This is what I'm afraid of. T'Challa is one of the smartest characters in the Marvel lineup, not depicting him as such would be an incredible disservice.


One of my favorite exchanges from the Earth's Mightiest Heroes tv-series:

T'Challa-"Computer, satellite-view of Wakanda"

Tony Stark:" uh, Wakanda can't be seen from Satellite, trust me I've tried"

*T'Challa locates and pulls up Wakanda on the map*

Tony: "uh, how exactly do you know my systems inside and out?"

T'Challa "I've studied them..inside and out"

Isn't Wakanda in Africa? Why would they have a black american playing T'challa? Give this role to an African actor. Same with Storm. I always thought her appearance was Eritrean.

It will happen one day because there's money in black excellence, BUT be prepared for one, if not more, of the following:

1. T'Challa, the Kang, will either have a:
a. white mentor/advisor
b. white girlfriend

2. Wakanda will NOT be more advanced than the rest of the world.

3. They'll make Hip-Hop jokes about him, although this also happens in the comics.

4. T'Challa will come to America and at some point school, or be dissappointed, in African Americans.

You know one of these shyts will be in there, 3 is a given.
