It's actually really similar. Being in a crowd makes individuals susceptible to feelings of deindividuation, which is pretty much the same as the anonymity internet comment sections and message boards provide, except more dangerous because a physical crowd has the potential to be moved to collective violence while online trolls are typically as bothersome as gnats.

Which I don't believe...but...fukk man...as I get older, I'm starting to realize that I can't trust most white people. I just can't. Time and time again, when the moment is right, I've seen perfectly normal people who you would never think harbor those types of feelings....the shyt just comes out.
