Squat gang how do I do squats without destroying my brittle knees

May want to make sure your knees aren't going in front of your feet during the squat. I was feeling pressure in the front of my knee because of this. Now I focus sticking my butt out more :dame: which switches the balance so that I squat with my knees behind or over top of my feet instead of in front.

Make sure you do a proper warm up. Strengthen and activate your posterior chain (2x work minimum for your hamstrings, glutes) and core, this will help with maintaining stability and not put as much pressure on your knees, When you have weak glutes/hamstrings/core, your body has to compensate somehow; personally like single leg work (lunges, split squats) for this since it those issues are far more noticeable . Also do some calf work and ankle mobility work ( that could be an issue as well).

See a licensed physical therapist and work out a real plan that’s suited to your unique situation.

Health is wealth - do this for longevity. Not short term gratification.
