No, Square Enix still own the Life Is Strange IP and they published the remasters them of last year. Out of all their western games they only sold the Tomb Raider, Deus Ex, and Soul Reaver properties

Tomb Raider, Soul Reaver and Deus Ex was fukking dope what are you saying bruh... Those are top tier games and they NOW just asking should they bring their double A titles into triple A when they had their hands on god tier classics...:snoop: and soul reaver LOK never got a final game nor did deus ex...:mjcry: :mindblown: SE mgmt incompetent and short sighted...

:why: fukking Square Enix b*stards...

I don't think any of Square's games that aren't already aaa can really be taken there.

Life is Strange has it's base, but I don't see it ever becoming aaa.

Nier I dunno, maybe a little better than Automata.

Outriders is the only one I could see, as long as they don't do gaas.

I hit Wikipedia to see what they still own

Front Mission- would have to change it to some armored core type game
Just Cause
Kane And Lynch
Chrono series - would have to be invest ff7 remake style
Parasites Eve
they can of course do remakes and sequels for FF/DW stuff

Yeah Square might have to do some original IP development big time

anything square brings back from the 90’s is essentially a new IP.

Vagrant Story, Parasite Eve, Brave Fencer Mushashi, FFT, Front Mission, Xenogears, Chrono, etc.

All those IP would be around 30 years old by the time a new game came out and most of them haven’t had a new entry or even a port in 15-20 years. They’d be better off creating a new ip
