idk, I feel like these types of games are easy money compared to new IP's like Forespoken or Foamstars

SE already stated they've pivoted to mostly AAA software and Capcom releases a lot of AA games.

Thats pretty much what the new president said he’s doing. They are cancelling all the AA and externally produced projects and bringing everything in house and concentrating on AAA big IP they have, Final Fantasy, Nier, Dragon Quest, KH, LiS, Mana, etc.

Which is probably the best move in terms of quality control.

Smart business move because the risks during this era really hurt but sucks as far as original creativity goes. Forpsoken was a flop but still glad it got the chance, guess you won't see them taking risks like that again.

Asano got promoted there so those games will probably get bigger budgets from this point forward

Games they are talking about are probably like Harvestella, Voice of Cards, Diofield, Valkyrie, various daylife, etc.
