Haha pretty much this. Warriors are playing excellent ball right now... but so were the Patriots. Just in November everyone was ready to give the Pats their 2nd straight title and had basically already named Brady MVP lol and that was just 2 months ago...

Theres 3 feet of snow piled up outside my window... and the NBA playoffs don't start until its hot outside. At this time last year, the Cavs were coming off of losing 9 of their last 11, getting bodied by the Sixers, ppl were talking about how it would take atleast 2-3 years for Lebron to get them back to the Finals and how they were an absolute mess.... fast forward to the playoffs and they damn near won the whole thing:heh:. GS wasn't viewed as a serious Championship contender last Jan, and we were waiting for SA to wrap up a repeat in the end. KD gets hurt, Conley gets hurt, Parker gets hurt, Clippers choke (lol) Irving gets hurt, etc GS continues to ball out while staying healthy and boom, title.
Nothing wrong with enjoying the great basketball we're seeing but its a long crazy season... people really think theyre going to walk through the playoffs unchallenged:patrice:iunno about that yet
NFL is one game anything can happen trick plays tipped pick 6's it's crazy how many way's you can lose a playoff/championship game in football.....you gotta beat GS FOUR TIMES with them having HCA...either yall dudes in denial or yall straight hating...barring injury nobody beating these dudes just accept it

I wasn't convinced last year, but the way they move the ball and cut on offensive, it's clear that Kerr has made them a much better team than Mark would've made them.

At least I don't believe this is a rebuttal. :yeshrug::francis:

:martin:

Rebutting your (at best, terribly misguided) comment is unnecessary. When something is flat out wrong, there's really no need.

I'm going let you cook though...nothing more from me.

this ain't 1 on 1... yea i'd say tim is more needed on defense and in the post than either of them when facing GS

is kawhi stopping a damn thing?? nope... they still shot the lights out

LA is good but is he shutting down the post or abusing bogut?? nope

now if kawhi is guarding outside knowing if you too fast and blow by him, you still got duncan AND la down low... well now you have a problem

slow the shyt down immensely by throwing it in to duncan and letting him fukk up their non existant post defense

that's spurs basketball... if you miss one piece... especially tim... you might as well hang it up

They're 7-1 without Duncan this season. :francis:

i do believe you completely missed the part where i said AGAINST GS

playoffs is about matchups... as we saw last year... one year you can cruise to the finals... another year you can lose first round... all depends on who you match up with and how their style goes with yours

GS and Spurs are polar opposites

Man I'm a diehard Lebron fan but I dont see anyone knocking this team off for the next few years. Bad timing for Bron :francis: He should've won that first one against dallas

True, but your putting the Warriors in the same league. The warriors are OUT of this WORLD.

I honestly don't think Duncan is the key to them beating GS. Aldridge playing better than he did definitely is, though. nikka has not shown up in any of their big games.

Spurs are the best team in the league and it's not close. It's been that way for several years. They threw the Finals against the Heat (sitting Duncan and Parker in the final moments, giving Lj wide open shots, all of which happened in games 6 and 7, etc). Won't go too deeply in to it, but let's just say even Charlamagne from the Breakfast Club asked Danny Green straight out if the league told them that Lebron needed to win. They threw the 1st round last season against a the team they swept in the playoffs before that one. If the Spurs don't win the title, they threw whatever series they "lost". That is, unless the most talented team (not to be confused with the best team) in the league (the Cavs) actually get their act together by June, which is unlikely.
:dwillhuh:
You're either a spurs stan or GS hater...or both:mjlol: Just can't give the dubs their due respect huh:francis:

Maybe not.
But a lot can happen between now and June.
This. GS should be the favorite but last year they didn't enter the playoffs as the favorite. You never know what team will rise. If we just crowned the favorite before playing the offs the dubs wouldn't have gotten to show they truly were the best team in the league. Thats why its:mindblown: when nikkas dismiss the rest of the contenders.
